2010-03-27 : Equipment Speciality
At the AGM for Plug Divers, Gary from Dive Safari offered Plug members a discount on a PADI Equipment Speciality course with a difference: going far further than the PADI minimum requirement for the course (which is rather poor in my opinion).
The basic jist of the course was how to save your dive, if for example, you're on a boat and your first stage regulator is leaking - without stripping the thing down of course ... as that's only for qualified technicians ;-)
So after the basic course content, he was stripping down first and second stage regulators and showing us the inside of cylinders etc. It also appears that I need to buy a few more tools for my dive tool kit ;-)
Anyway, I couldn't resist ... so that's me now got another PADI ticket.
